“Microsoft’ endorses SUSE, Linux Enterprise
Learn More ->”…
that’s what on the Novell’s home page. The 1st thing came to my mind is, Why the hell do they (Microsoft) want to do that? So I clicked “Learn More ->”,THE browser CRASHED!!!! fsck! damn FLASH!!!, why can’t they just use an image?? it’s just a static image. btw flash is not totally to be blamed, I had about 500 tabs open in 6 Firefox windows (1.5 days worth of leftover browsing). Luckily the great Firefox 2.0 can just restore the crashed session back (for v. 1.5 users use Tab Mix Plus) .
Back to Novell and Microsoft, does this means Novell endorses Microsoft’s Vista for Desktop? hope not, because I think Vista WAS (Longhorn) IS and GOING TO BE (Vista XP??), a Flop!! :-0
Anyway after reading through the press releases and some articles it seems they are going work together on Virtualization, Web services for managing physical and virtual servers, Document format compatibility. Good for them

According to Eben Moglen the deal might be incompatible with the GPL3 license and is likely incompatible with the current GPL2 license..
you can find more info on that. http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/news/2167966/novell-microsoft-partnership
